Capt. ZHAO Yun graduated from Dalian Maritime University with a Bachelor's degree in Navigation in 2006. He served at sea as an officer for 12 years and another two years as master on various types of ships including general cargo and container vessels.

Since moving ashore in 2020, Capt. ZHAO has worked as a correspondent for P&I Clubs and H&M insurers, handling various types of marine claims and casualties. With nearly 20 years of first hand experience in the marine insurance industry, he combines practical expertise in ship management, navigation, cargo handling, and emergency response with strong claims handling skills and a thorough understanding of the maritime industry chain and marine insurance business.
